Moray & Agnew
Who are Moray & Agnew?
The firm can trace its origin to 1948, but has been known as Moray & Agnew since 1969. Built on a solid history in insurance law, client demand guided our growth into commercial litigation & dispute resolution, construction & projects, corporate & commercial, property & development, and workplace legal services. With over 100 partners and over 650 staff spread across our seven offices, we play to our strengths to provide our clients with consistently good advice.
We have built a culture around the idea that work can be fun, challenging and rewarding. In 2020 we were named one of the 25 most attractive firms to work at in Australia. According to the AFR Law Partnership Survey of December 2022 we have the sixth highest percentage of female Partners. We celebrate diversity and what makes each of us unique. We are inclusive, congenial, friendly but with a professional approach.
Why join us?
Consistently high calibre advice/representation is provided to our clients. Joining our teams will give you the opportunity to work with and learn from acknowledged experts in their fields. Together with our Mind-to-Mind Mentoring program which pairs graduates and junior lawyers with a mentor in the firm, we offer a comprehensive in-house CPD program throughout the year. With an open-door policy and easy access to Partners and senior Lawyers, there are endless opportunities for learning and growth.
There is an excitement working in a successful and thriving firm with the critical mass to attract national and international clients, but we remain small enough for you to be yourself and to make a difference. We love to see our employees’ true and authentic selves shining in the workplace and encourage you to bring your whole self to work each day. We value hard work, honesty and professionalism, and ask that you share with us openly about what you want to do and where you want to take your career.
We have flexible working practices, including flexible part-time and work from home arrangements, and dress for your day. Our social and sporting events provide relaxed environments for social interaction. Staff can access a range of other mental and physical wellbeing benefits including our Employee Assistance Program.
